WERE HERE!!!

{Rachel} Last night we finally got to where we were going. We were driving along Gaspe Bay and looking at all the beautiful scenery, and taking a lot of pictures. We finally pulled up in to the campsite at 7:30 pm, and my dad's science teacher from 6th grade was waiting at the door to his 200 year old house! After we got situated in our parking spot, we went down to Mr. Rose's house for a visit. He is a really nice man. He also told us that we are going to eat lobster tomorrow night and I am a little scared!
This morning, I woke up and went right down to the beach. Just to tell you, wearing tennis shoes is not very smart at a beach! Wilson and I found a medium sized rock and when a wave came, we would quickly jump onto the rock and dodge the waves. It was fun! After that I decided to explore the beach a little. I found a dried sea urchin and a couple of cool rocks. I saw lots of sea weed and kelp washed up on shore. I also saw two starfish, one red and one that was spikey looking. They were neat. Mr. Rose also said that there are 2 colonies of seals on an island near our campsight. My mom even saw a seal. The water isn't that cold, but it's still cold. After playing near the ocean we went up to a little park and rolled in the hot sand. It felt good!
