(wilson) |-| i....I mean hi. Yesterday at 9:00 a.m (8:00 to all you guys) we went up a steep hiking trail near our RV and went to a shoreline that was Conglomarate. This means it is a bunch of rocks held together by a natural cement. We were exploring tide pools for different sea animals. We saw LOTS of amphipods (little wormy crustaceans), several crabs and starfish, a few sea urchins, tons of seaweed, a few sandpiper birds, but NO fish! It doesn't seem like there are any fish in Canada. The only ones I've seen are a couple of minnows. We hiked back (and got a little wet, too) and then we left to go eat lunch. We packed up the RV and drove this time. We went to a cafe that had a lot of art in it. They were famous for their waffles, and that's what me and Rachel got! After we ate, we drove to a hiking trail that's like half a kilometer long (about one third of a mile) and walked to a waterfall leading down to a crystal clear, small, green lake. The waterfall was actually sort of a bunch of water-filled chutes (not like Niagara). I sat on a fallen branch and created a 2-D picture of a Velociraptor out of rocks (Joah you should try this, it's fun). We went back to the RV, and drove back to Tete d'Indien and pulled out our camping stuff! Here is a classification guide of the animals we saw at the tide pools:
